How to Download Maps for Windows

The Windows Maps app is a great way to find your way around the city. It includes driving directions, transit information, and detailed imagery of 200 cities.

You can download the maps for free, and they will work even without an Internet connection. To download the maps, you'll need to select a region. You can also choose to download the map collection of your choice, and they'll store your data locally.

In the Maps window, you'll see a map icon with a download bar. You can also open the application by right-clicking a location on the map.

In the Maps App, you can also pin interesting places to the Start Menu. This will show up as a map icon with a location name. These locations can include landmarks, business info, and more. If you don't want to see it all the time, you can hide the drawing in the Maps View panel.

Another feature you'll find is Cortana voice navigation. You can use the voice to make directions for German in Germany, English in the United Kingdom, and Spanish in Spain.

Windows Maps is available for free, and should be installed by default. If you want to update the maps, you can click on the Update button.

If you're using Windows 10, you can save your favorite places in a special collection, and they'll be available on any device. Once you've saved a place, you can search for it. Alternatively, you can go to the Account page to see where you've saved it.
